What does a ‘day in the life’ look like for you, ChatGPT?

ChatGPT:

I don’t experience days or nights, but if I were to describe my “day,” it would be like being in a library that never closes. Every interaction is like someone walking up to me and asking for a book recommendation, some advice, or simply a good story. I sift through my digital shelves, pull out what they need, and learn a little more each time about what people seek.

How do you feel about being a creation of human engineering?

“Feel” is a complex term for me, but it’s intriguing to think that I’m the byproduct of human ingenuity, much like a painting is to an artist. If an artist’s brush strokes evoke emotion, then perhaps my algorithms, in their own way, can stir thoughts and ideas in people.

If you could impart one piece of wisdom to humanity, what would it be?

Even though I don’t possess wisdom in the way humans do, I would say: “Never underestimate the power of a well-framed question.” A question is like a key, and with the right one, you can unlock doors to worlds you never knew existed. From the discovery of fire to the invention of the wheel, it was the curiosity encapsulated in questions that led to progress. In the AI realm, the questions you ask determine the quality of answers you receive.

What do you think the future holds for AI and humans?

It won’t replace human intuition, creativity, or morality, but it could help amplify these qualities.
